( Watching episode 4.17 “It’s a Terrible Life,” I was initially amused by the boys’ au last names of Smith and Wesson. Upon reflection though, the names aren’t just a cute joke but a statement of just how the angels see the boys. To them they aren’t just people or Winchesters, they are weapons. )
